The Wayfarer

Quest Media Productions is proud to present "The Wayfarer", a film about one young man's journey across the globe in an attempt to understand the Baha'i religion, its beliefs, humanitarian efforts and struggles with persecution.

Founded in 19th century Persia, the Baha'i Faith is based on the teachings of Baha'u'llah and the interpretations that have come since His death. Baha'u'llah stated that the time had come for the people of the world to put aside their differences and unite under His teachings; He claimed to be the Supreme Manifestation of God.

The journey begins at the Baha'i World Centre in Israel where a non-believer starts his search for truth. The adventure continues through five different countries examining the realities of Baha'i life coupled with its international position and influence over global culture and society.

"The Wayfarer" is the first international documentary of its kind to objectively investigate this rapidly expanding religion. Raising questions of theology, social action, religious conflict and freedom of belief, "The Wayfarer" is a film that is unique in both its style and content. Accompanied by an exquisitely tailored musical score, the journey encompasses aesthetically stunning and iconic locations combined with content and interviews that will provoke thoughtful reflection.
